New paint

Did some random painting with John today on the car. Painted the door handles black, as well as the front right headlight. Also did a whole cleaning, the most thurough yet. Engine, Interior, Exterior, everything. sparkling clean now. Almost have all the plans for my car worked out by now, just need to know what rims i want to put on it, what size, and where to buy em.

The red rocket runs! replaced the dead battery, now shes purrin like a kitten. Probably gonna take it out today. see if i can drive standard at all. Very nervous. On a side note, i was thinking last night the same thing as i always do, what the heck should i put on my car first? then i realized i have 2 years until i can drive it, so theres no need me putting in a turbo'd engine when its not gonna get any use. So i figured i would do some cosmetic work (body kit, spoiler, rims, paint, etc.) and practice driving (sideways) on the ka24 till it dies, and hopefully by then i will have my full license, and will have a job and such so i can put the new engine in.

..someone want to give me some ideas as to of what colour to paint my 240, cause at this point i have no freaking clue.

Got My Car!

So i got my 1990 hatchback 240sx yesterday from a guy in Delta!. Im incredibly pleased with the car, not to much rust (just some on the left skirt, and some under the spoiler), colours arent faded, doesnt need much engine work aside from a new throw out barring and a new battery (which has already been purchased, and waiting to be installed), nice interior. Basically the exact car that i wanted..except the fact that its running, i wasnt expecting that luxury. Some pics:

I have a lot of plans for the car (small and big), most of which wont happen for a long long time due to lack of money. But i mine as well throw up my list of things i want to buy anyway (List isnt in any particular order, just throwing them down as they come to me.)

1. 16 inch BBS LM rear rims
2. 16 inch Enkei RP03 front rims (not set on both of these sets of rims, might get something different, just thought these look nice. I also dont know if this will be the size i get, or if i'll even get 2 pairs of rims..i'll decide that once i find a couple good sets, and have the money)
3. K&N typhoon air intake
4. Megan Racing 3 inch catback exhaust
5. SR20DET
6. Megan Racing GT type aluminum spoiler
7. Megan Racing Coil overs
8. ED duraflex M-1 Sport body kit (front, side, rear)
9. Alpine MP3 CD car deck
10. 2 Alpine car subwoofers
11. Window Tint
12. 50mm Fender Flares (maybe, not set on this at all, just thought it might look good, we'll see once i have body kit and all that)
13. JDM racing seats (same with this, if i find something like it, i'll probably get it)
14. I would like to have a welded differential, but dont know if its necessary.

Thats all i can really think of for now but im sure there will be lots more as the weeks go on. But since i cant think of anything more to write, i better go finish my baby sitting gig.
